This website uses a handful of cookies. Most are strictly necessary: they keep owners and managers signed in, carry a message from one page to the next, and remember your answer to the question below. The rest are Google Analytics, which counts visits so we can see which pages help people. The app uses no cookies.
The table at the end of this page lists every cookie the site sets. It’s generated from the website’s own code, so it stays complete.
Google Analytics, and when we ask
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people read and where they get stuck.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask before the Analytics cookie is set. Until you accept, the tag runs in a mode that stores nothing on your device and sends only an anonymous count. If you decline, it stays that way. Elsewhere the cookie is set without asking, which is what the law in those places allows.
Before anything is sent, wherever you are, the page address is shortened to its template, so a join code, team or invite never reaches Google (for example /join/K7QM4RZP is sent as /join/:code). We don’t send names, emails or anything you type.
We run no advertising. Google’s advertising storage, advertising identifiers and ad personalisation are switched off for every visitor, in the tag and in the Analytics property, and we don’t use Google Signals. There is nothing on this site for a consent choice to turn on beyond the counting described above. Google keeps the data for 14 months.
Your choices
If we asked you, you can change your answer at any time, below. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones stops you signing in to the dashboard; blocking Google Analytics changes nothing else about how the site works. Browser add-ons such as Google’s opt-out add-on also stop Analytics.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie that isn’t strictly necessary or Analytics, we’ll ask first, before it’s set.
